Army Training Centre

What is the objective of the project?

To help socially, economically backward and underprivileged youth who all are willing to join the Indian Military Services or the State Police departments or another Government or State administrative services. To clear the entrance exams requires professional guidance and preparation. The students have to be trained physically as well as mentally to clear these entrance exams. This project has been conceptualised to provide training facilities to rural youth who do not have any access to such training facilities due to financial limitations or lack of access either within their villages or nearby locations.


The purpose of this project is to provide:

1. To inculcate the habit of physical exercise among the youth

2. Professional coaching and guidance to rural, underprivileged youth

3. Making financially independent youth by joining the Indian Military or the State Police department or any other Government or State administrative services


Where will the training center located?

The training centre location will be at Wagholi, Taluka Shevgaon Dist. Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. In future we have plans to expand it to other locations.

Who will be the beneficiaries of this project?

The project will be implemented for the youth in the age group of 17 to 23

Educational Qualification: Undergraduates & Graduates

Economic Status: Young boys from families below the poverty line, backward class and minor landholders

Max. Intake: 25 Students

Who will train them and who will supervise the entire project?

Guest lecturers/Ex. Service Men will be invited and the entire camp will be under observation of local Ex. Service Man.

Local volunteers and representatives of local bodies will supervise the project and contribute towards its successful completion.

What will be the project cost?

1. For the initial infrastructural set up: location, training material, drinking water facility, provision for electricity, and temporary camping – a minimum amount of approximately Rs 2,50,000/-


2. Remuneration of guest lecturer and Ex. Service Men, Student uniforms, snacks, stationery required for written exams and interviews and other expenses - a minimum amount of approximately Rs 3,50,000/-

What is the expected outcome of this project?

1. To inculcate the habit of physical exercise among the youth

2. Awareness about competitive exams will be generated.

3. All possible efforts will be made to ensure 100% success rate in terms of students clearing the entrance exams.

4. Making financially independent youth by joining the Indian Military or the State Police department or any other Government or State administrative services

5. Discipline and routine will become a part of life for the students.

6. The students who will pursue a successful career in Govt / Military service will become an inspiration for others in the community.

7. The project will contribute to the overall development of society.
