The year 2025 marked a historic milestone for Project Lakshya, an initiative of Sankalp Abhinav Bharat Foundation. Fourteen young beneficiaries from rural Maharashtra achieved selection into the Indian Army under the Agniveer Scheme, a proud achievement for their families and the entire region of District Ahilyanagar.

To honor their success, a felicitation ceremony was organized in Waholi Gaon on Tuesday, 09 December 2025 at 11:30 AM. The event celebrated discipline, determination, and the power of structured rural training.

The 14 Agniveer Selections – 2025

The following Project Lakshya beneficiaries were selected into the Indian Army:

Their success reflects months of disciplined physical training, written examination preparation, and consistent mentorship under Project Lakshya.

Their success marks a significant achievement for the region, as many of them come from modest rural backgrounds and have undergone rigorous physical and written preparation under Project Lakshya.

Dignitaries Grace the Occasion

The felicitation program was attended by retired Army officer Major Ashok Wandhekar, Prof. Arjun Deshmukh, and social worker Umesh Bhalsing. Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries congratulated the selected candidates and encouraged them to serve the nation with integrity, discipline, and dedication.

Parents, villagers, and community members gathered in large numbers, turning the ceremony into a celebration of collective pride.

Support Beyond Selection

On the occasion, the foundation presented each selected candidate with a trolley bag to support their reporting and training requirements in the Indian Army. The gesture was symbolic of the foundation’s continued guidance and support even after selection.
